Christmas Events in the Library

Our Christmas events start on Saturday 16 December at 10am when there will be a variety of stalls, competitions and a tombola. At 11am St Laurence’s Church Handbell Ringers will entertain for about 45 minutes. From 1.30 – 3.30pm you can book a 15 minute stress-busting hand massage for just £2.50. At 1.30pm and 2.30pm there will be Children’s Craft Sessions, making festive boxes and bags, for £1 per child. Pop into the library or ring 01609 534059 to book a place. The library will close at 4pm. The computers will not be available after 1.30pm, as on a normal Saturday, but you will be able to return and take out books using the self-service machines.
As well as treasure hunts and colouring competitions for children there’s a Christmas quiz for adults that you can download and print from here! Bring it to the library by Friday 22nd December, 5pm, with your £1 entry fee. Good luck!
