Bookstart Week – ‘Every Bunny Dance’
Book Start went off with a hop, skip and jump on 5th June as the Volunteers welcomed 15 children and two helpers from Little Footsteps Nursery.
They explored the Children’s Section at the Library and a colourful array of Bunny Ears were made and worn by the children with the assistance of Community Outreach Librarian Heather French and Volunteer Angela Newens.
Storyteller Sue Bedford read the book ‘Every Bunny Dance’ by Ellie Sandall following which songs were sung and dances danced.
The morning was enjoyed by everyone at the Library and the children headed back for lunch wearing their own set of Bunny Ears and clutching their personal copy of the Every Bunny Dance book.
