Bus Timetable Changes from 31 October

The local East Yorkshire bus services change on 31 October and the number 11 service will no longer serve Prospect Road, Coldyhill Lane and the Moor Lane/Newby loop, but will go from Scalby Mills into town via Northstead. The number 8 bus will serve Barrowcliff. The new number 10 service will operate from High Mill Scalby, the Rosette, Newby to Scarborough Hospital and West Square in town then on to St Thomas Street and Cayton. From Cayton it goes via St Thomas Street and Westborough to Scarborough Hospital, the Rosette, into Scalby village and to High Mill. The new timetable for this service is in the library entrance, next to where volunteer Ray is standing in his Halloween shirt in the photo below. The 115 service serves Ravenscar, Cloughton, Burniston and goes along Scalby Road to Queen Street. Copies of all the new timetables have been printed in the library from the bus company’s website and can be collected from us. A donation for printing costs would be appreciated. We will endeavour to get printed booklets from the bus company when they are available.
