Great News!

The lovely people at Making A Difference Locally and Proudfoot Supermarkets, Newby, have chosen us to receive a Making a Difference Heart of the Community Award of £5,000! This very generous award has enabled us to repair our automatic entrance doors and put brand new, hygienic lever taps and sinks in our toilets. Many customers may have seen us struggling to open the door when it got stuck or may have even had a near miss when it tried to close on them, but it’s now working beautifully for the happy day when we are able to welcome everyone back again. Thanks SO much MADL – we have some really exciting plans for our community once the worst of the virus is over.  Here’s trustee Lisa struggling to open the front door, the work taking place and the before and after look of our new sinks and taps!
