Halloween Fun

During the Halloween Half Term week cartoon artist and author Liz Million returned to the library to deliver another of her popular cartoon art masterclasses, showing the participants how to draw spooky ghouls and monsters.  Several lucky children took her drawings home along with their own work and templates to practice with at home.   There was also an arts and crafts session for pre-school children with Rachel Shepherdson of North Yorkshire County Council.

The treasure hunt was won by Harrison Emsley and the colouring competition by Robinson Ingle, 2, Gabriel Millard, 6 and Jocelyn Welburn 8.
