Knit for North Yorkshire in the Library

BBC Radio York would like your help to knit as many scarves as possible this winter.  The scarves will go to Age UK, foodbanks and homlessness charities.  The ladies of Crafty Articles who meet at the library every Wednesday afternoon are supporting this appeal but everyone who can knit a scarf can leave it in the special container in the photo, which is just inside the library on the right-hand side.  The appeal has been so successful that it has been extended until 15 January!  Further details from www.bbc.co.uk/radioyork.
