Making a Difference Locally with Proudfoots

Local supermarket Proudfoots have once again supported their community library by donating £250 to enable us to order and purchase new bags with which to deliver books, audio books and DVDs to our 70+ home library customers.  The new bags, which will arrive soon, are made of jute so are more environmentally friendly than the current ones.  The photo shows Valerie Aston, Director of Proudfoots, presenting the cheque to Trustees June Watson, Judy Woodroofe, Tricia Whelan (who co-ordinates the Home Library deliveries) and Lesley Newton.  Please contact the library for further details of the home library service.
