Spring Spectacular Photos

During the week 9 – 14 April 2018 we held various events to celebrate our first birthday as a Community Library.  The Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Martin and Mrs Cherry Smith, visited us and we are extremely grateful to all our volunteers and customers who made it such a happy and enjoyable week, helping to boost our funds along the way.  The hand massage was so popular that Mavis and Sue have kindly agreed to offer this on a monthly basis on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, starting on 13 June and we hope Moo Music will have a regular slot with us too so watch this space!

Kathy Seabrook delivered a Fun Music Session on Tuesday

On Wednesday there were flower arranging classes with Lin Blyth, hand massage with Mavis & Sue

and a performance by the handbell ringers of St Laurence’s Church, Scalby in the presence of the Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Martin and Mrs Cherry Smith.

On Friday Sarah of Moo Music gave a free taster session

on Saturday Dylan and Alex entertained us and we held a Teddy Bears’ Picnic, re-launching the Book Start Bear Club.
