Summer Reading Challenge 2019 – Space Chase

This year’s Summer Reading Challenge for 0-11 year olds has blasted off!  Space Chase is a fun, out-of-this-world challenge to children to help space family The Rockets on a special mission!  By reading 6 books during the Summer Holidays they can complete a sticker book and receive other gifts along the way.  The 9 events that will be held at the library during the holidays include Zoom to the Moon, Zoo Lab’s Animals in Space, Space Art, Love Science, Liz Million’s cartoon art and a space adventure writing workshop!  Details are here.  All events will be free for library members but MUST be booked in advance by calling into the library or ringing 01609 534059.  Please do not book by email or messaging Facebook since these are monitored by volunteers who are only in the library on certain days.  Children under 7 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
