Temporary Library Closure & Fines Amnesty

To all our lovely customers –  we regret to inform you all that it is our intention to shut the library at 5.30pm on Friday, 20 March until further notice.  We had hoped to remain open a little longer but the latest advice from the government is clear and it would be irresponsible to disregard their advice. We will be cancelling all events with immediate effect until the end of April and will await further developments beyond that.
There will be a fines amnesty until further notice.
We would like to thank everyone for your support and particularly from our volunteers who have said they’ll stay on duty to the end of the week. Naturally, we will be in touch as soon as we know when we will be able to re-open.
