The Snow Bear

A wonderful idea for a stocking filler gift would be a ticket for Hoglets Theatre’s production of the Snow Bear, to be performed at the library on Saturday 8 January at 2pm.  Based on the Norwegian folk story, ‘East of the Sun and West of the Moon, this beautiful tale has been lovingly rewritten to become a magical theatre experience.  Using live music, puppetry and immersive storytelling, Hoglets Theatre weave this tale of kindness, magic and love overcoming adversity.

The library closes to the public at 1.30pm on Saturdays but anyone attending this performance will be able to use its usual facilities.  Tickets are £3 and the show is suitable for children aged 4-11.  This will be Hoglets’ third visit to the library since the Summer as we are charmed by Gemma and Andy, their storytelling and puppet handling.  Numbers are limited to 20 accompanied children, so come and buy your tickets soon!
