1 October was National Poetry Day and to celebrate we have created a Poetry Garden where customers can come and enjoy reading a variety of poems. Along with the poem written by Simon Armitage especially for National Poetry Day, entitled ‘Something Clicked’, there’s funny poems, old poems, modern poems, poems about the seasons, love poems, poems about dinosaurs and a dragon called Custard, and even a poem written by one of our trustees (which is rather good!). See you there! NB The garden is only open during library open hours.
