Cheque Presentation by Scalby Wives

Once again Scalby Wives Group held a coffee evening in aid of the library and raised the tremendous sum of £426.50 for the library’s funds.  The Trustees and volunteers are hugely grateful for the support and encouragement of Scalby Wives Group and applaud their commitment to our community, which includes the people of Burniston, Cloughton, Hackness, Harwood Dale, Ravenscar and Staintondale as well as Newby and Scalby.  The photo shows members of Scalby Wives presenting the Trustees of the library with a cheque for the funds raised.
