Donation from the Blacksmith’s Arms, Cloughton

The Blacksmith’s Arms in Cloughton holds a pub quiz every Wednesday at 8.30pm, with quizmasters David and Brian. Entry is just £1 and this year Tony and Debbie Arnall, the pub’s Landlord and Landlady, chose Newby and Scalby Library & the NSPCC as the charities to benefit from the proceeds. Debbie kindly popped into the library to present us with their generous gift. Here she is, with trustee Gill & our new Chairman of Trustees, Judy. We’re really grateful for this wonderful support from the community we serve.
