Knitting Mice for the Library!

Please join us in a knitting/crochet project for the library, in which we would like to hide a number of knitted mice in the children’s library, for them to find and take home. We are asking for donations of teeny knitted or crocheted mice! Please keep the mice simple and cute and do not use beads or buttons. They can be any colour – use up your stash! Use any pattern; there are a number of free patterns available on-line (e.g. see www.cheryx.com – search for ‘My Tiny Mouse’ or copy and paste this link into your browser https://kids.spcaeducation.org.nz/get-involved/things-to-make-or-do/knitted-mice-for-cats-and-kittens/)  You can also pop into the library to pick up a copy of this pattern or email us on snltrustees@gmail.com and we will email a copy to you.

Deadline for donations: Tuesday May 20th 2025
Mice will be placed in the library: Saturday May 24th 2025
Please bring your mice to the library anytime before May 20th and hand them in to a volunteer (we are closed on a Thursday).
