Summer Reading Challenge Events

Here’s the details of the free events we’ve arranged to give children some fun this summer.  They are all themed along the lines of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, which is Wild World Heroes.  Our old friends Harminis, Liz Million, Zoo Lab and Love Science are back along with the opportunity to meet a real live bat, with a licensed handler.  Events will be held in our lovely garden, weather permitting, but we do have a covered area so they will only be indoors if it’s really cold and blowing a gale!  There’s 10 places per event and we’ll operate a reserve list so if you book and find you can’t attend after all please let us know.  Booking should be in person in the library or by ringing us on 01609 534059 during our open hours.  We can’t accept bookings by Facebook or Email.
