Warm Welcome Week

Cllr Subash Sharma, Newby’s North Yorkshire Council Counsellor, popped in to receive our Warm Welcome and to see the items that we’d been able to buy for our customers thanks to his generous Locality Grant. We’ve given away 68 lap blankets and countless hot drinks, hand and body warmers and digital room temperature gauges to help our customers keep warm and well after Christmas. Here he is with volunteer Lilian, and with one of the lap blankets in the fiction area.

Our volunteers have been wearing warm and welcoming colours to cheer us all up on these gloomy January days.
